Pandemonio di Casa Brogi: Authentic Florentine Cuisine with Unforgettable Bottarga Pasta & Fiorentina Steak

Amazing chicken liver crostini, wow. Served warm and gorgeous. The pasta unfortunately was super wet (pasta water not drained properly) which made it hard for the ragu to cling too. Felt this was rushed and lacked care. Steak was good and sides delicious. They didn’t have the wine we wanted in which was a shame for a small list. Tiramisu was fine! Lovely service and a gorgeous team who ran the place. I think we just had bad luck with the pasta!

I have visited this place twice, and both times were wonderful experiences. The bottarga pasta and the Fiorentina steak are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend them. I can’t wait to come back again!

This places feels like you’re eating at home. The service was impeccable, the food did not skip a bit. Each dish we got was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Very grateful a local in the area recommended us. This pasta and steak experience is something I’ll never forget. I came back after ten years because I couldn’t stop thinking about the bottarga pasta I had here. Still amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the bottarga pasta hasn’t changed at all—in the best way. The staff were super friendly too. Loved the whole experience!

My partner are here on holiday from Australia. I picked this spot on the map at random and we went there for dinner having no idea what the place was like - and we were not disappointed! This has to be some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had! The hosts are welcoming, the vibe is relaxed and the ambiance is warm. We will definitely be coming back on our last day in Florence to try more food!

Great spot we stopped in for lunch. Did not have a place planned out and found this. At first it was pretty empty and made us nervous, but before we left the dining room was almost full. We all got different dishes and each of them tasted great. Get mommas ragu for sure and the tortellacci!

This restaurant was recommended by my host, and I went there tonight. I suggest making a reservation, as it was completely full when I arrived around 21:00 (luckily, I had booked ahead). The food was absolutely delicious, and the place was buzzing with happy diners who all seemed to be enjoying their meals. although you sometimes had to raise your hand to get the waiters’ attention, I didn’t mind at all. The staff were friendly and polite—especially our waiter, Samual, who was incredibly helpful, polite, and informative. I highly, 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience authentic local cuisine. When I return to Florence, I’ll definitely be coming back here!

A very good Trattoria! Grilled meat is absolutely delicious! Everything was good: pasta, grilled potatoes, wine… Homemade and fresh quality food. The staff is really nice. We’ve eaten there twice!
